Today .. driving down the road with kyle, I found a beautiful field of organic sunflowers. We turned it into a photoshoot (after getting permission from the farmer). Summer and I had a lot of fun, walking through rows and rows of sunflowers.
Today was a perfect day. a whole new meaning to stop and smell the sunflowers...:)

Hunters First Day of School

Well this was Hunter's first day of preschool at Ansonia!
This photo says alot to me.. first off- the 3 years of his life has went by extremely way to fast for my comfort, and second- I really need to teach him how to smile..(he gets that trait for his father)
On this day I will tell you I believe I was way more nervous than Hunter could have ever thought of being. I was worried (by worried.. i mean wishing)  he would desperatly want his mommy and want me to save him, but instead as you can tell from this photo.. he was extremely excited.. and bit aprehensive.. and a tad bit annoyed. He was excited because he was going to school like all the big kids he knows, aprehensive because he knew that i was leaving him. and annoyed that i kept making him stop and smile when all he really wanted to do was play in the sandbox behind him.
Well He Made It!!
He walked into the school, we put stuff away..told him Mom and Dad would be back to get him.. and that was it. No crying, No
wimpering. Just hugs and kiss.. and BYE!   All I could think was Really that was it... this moment that i have fretted about all summer was over, and it was simple. i walked to my van, kyle walked to his truck.. I have to admit I was a little disappointed, not because i thought hunter should have been upset.. but because i felt like this day was HUGE>..but yet it really seemed like just another day.

Well Hunter made friends.. "two of them" he said.. but yet he does not remember their names..which makes me laugh.. because most days he makes his own names up for people like a guy named OJ.. would get translated to Jose'..
I really Love this Little Man he has a very special place in my heart along with my other children. I am sooo proud of him for being a Big Boy and going to school and not having any problems to report back. He is my HUNTER!!
